Winter Camping Adventure!

6 Students Maximum.
Cost: $250
Friday Feb 21- 4 pm -- Sunday Feb 23, 11 am pick-up
Required Gear: Zero degree sleeping bag, snowshoes, sled, pack, snow pants, coat, warm socks, gloves, hats, baselayers, etc… Lunch for Saturday required. All other meals included
Join us for an epic Teen Adventure of two nights of Winter Camping in the beautiful North Woods. We will venture out Friday evening and set up camp in a heated wall tent. Saturday We will adventure around the frozen landscape, checking bever traps, following animal tracks, and ice fishing. We will cook a wild feast Saturday evening in our hot tent, wake up Sunday morning and break camp to head out. The weekend will be physically challenging, yet rewarding with the beauty of the north country winter revealing itself as we immerse ourselves in Winter. Dinner Friday and Saturday, and Breakfast Saturday and Sunday are included.

Survival Quest!
Join us for an epic adventure, where we put our survival skills to the test by heading into the wilderness for 2 nights with minimal gear! This camp will run Monday through Thursday, with overnights Tuesday and Wednesday night. Monday we will spend the day honing our survival skills, learning the rule of 3’s, crafting fire starting kits, learning primitive traps, and shelter techniques. Tuesday we will head off into the woods and start the hard work of creating a survival camp. We will forage for our food, sleep in our primitive shelters, and tackle whatever challenges we face as a team. Thursday we will come back to civilization, capture the lessons and stories of our time out, and refuel with a feast and some relaxation.
This camp is for students with prior experience in my programs or other camping and wilderness experience. Survival camping is not easy. We will likely get bug bitten and hungry, however we will experience the pure and simple beauty of the natural world by being in true relationship with the earth as we depend on her for our basic needs.

Weekend Adventures
Stay tuned for future weekend adventures! Each weekend will include 3 core components: a wild location, a wilderness skill or craft, and a wild food/ cooking project. We will camp traditionally (tent and sleeping bag), and or primitively (debris hut or other shelter), and spend each weekend exploring, learning, pushing our edges, and enjoying time in nature with peers.
Weekends start Friday evening at 5 pm, and go until Sunday at 10 am. Drop off and pick-up locations will change for each weekend. Cost is $200 per weekend, all food and materials included. Individual camping gear may be required. Let me know if you’d like more information about a Teen Weekend.
